Automotive Technican

Our third grade class is doing a career project, yesterday Mr. Dennis Blanke came in and told us about his job as an Automotive Technician for Acura/Honda in Elmhurst. Being an Automotive Technician or Auto Tech means he fixes and does maintenance on cars. This is a great job and we are about to tell you about it.

If you want to be an Auto Tech you have to be careful of injury’s like cutting yourself or spraining your shoulder. We say this because they use many tools such as drills, an oil filter wrench, and a combination wrench. It also means you change oil, fix windows, and perform other basic maintenance.

When Mr. Blanke is at home he likes to ride his bike and swim with his family. Plus Mr. Blanke likes to build things in his spare-time.

Overall being an Automotive Technician is a very interesting and exciting job. Mr. Blanke taught us a lot about his AMAZING and FABULOUS job. Maybe you would like to be an Automotive Technician when you grow up?

  2. I'M VERY DELIGHTED WITH THE WAY THESE YOUNG BOYS AND GIRLS,PUT THEIR WORDS TOGETHER TO EXPLAIN THE SYSTEM WHICH A MECHANIC USES TO EXECUTE HIS JOB,SAFELY AND PRECISELY. IT SEEMS TO ME THAT THEY'RE PAYING ATTENTION TO THEIR EXPLANATIONS PRESENTED BY THE CAREER SPECIALISTS.IT IS A GOOD IDEA ON BEHALF OF MRS. CHRISTOPHER INTRODUCING CHILDREN TO REAL-LIFE CAREERS,WHICH WILL HELP THEM DECIDE WHAT THEY WANT TO DO IN THEIR FUTURISTIC EDUCATIONAL,VOCATIONAL PROSPECTUS.CONGRATULATIOS! MR.JOSE L. GARCIA
