On May 21, 2014 Mr. Sadowski came to our classroom. His job is the Director Of Philanthropy at Vandercook College Of Music. He has always liked working with people. He was once the boss of the Boys and Girls Club in Chicago. He went to College for 6 years and earned his Bachelors and Masters degree in Business Administration. He has raised millions of dollars for Vandercook. He “wears many different hats.” Sometimes he goes to different companies and talks about the college in order to raise money for them. He also asks if someone wants to volunteer to help at Vandercook. He writes grants to raise money. Occasionally, he travels to other states to meet donors. He likes meeting people and making lives better. He has been in his career over 25 years. He doesn’t work alone. His typical work day lasts from 12 to 14 hours a day, but sometimes it is 24 hours if there is a special event that he it working on. Mr. Sadowski doesn’t have a hard part about his job because he loves it so much. He enjoys improving the quality of life for everyone and making life better for others. What a great job!
