Today we saw Mr. Roche. He is a salesman that sells tools for doctors to use. His daily responsibilities are to make contacts with people, answer conference calls, and meet new people. His typical work day is from 6:30 - 7:00 or 8:00. He works every day even on Sunday except for holidays. His job does not stop when he comes home because he has to answer phone calls. He doesn’t wear a uniform, but he has a dress code that he has to wear a company shirt and he wears scrub and a fancy suit. He has been in his career for 10 or 12 years. He has never had a different job. The worst part of his job is when something doesn't go right.
Mr. Roche does not communicate with people all
around the world; he only communicates with people surrounding Illinois like
Indiana, Missouri, Iowa, Michigan and sometimes Kentucky. He does not work
alone. He works with doctors and nurses to show them how to use the tools he
sells. He was in college for four years. He attended the University of Kansas.
The best part about his job is helping people and making them improve their
health. What inspired him to do this is that he loves helping people and enjoys
teaching others new things.
Now
we have another choice for a career!
